You can't grow a profitable business online without an email list. Period.

But since you asked, here's my top list of reasons: 1: You own your audience. On any other platform you gain followers or subscribers, whose addresses you can't export. The platform decides who you reach and when and how. That type of relationship is not entirely under your control, which impacts the results you can achieve. Plus: you have zero risk of getting banned.

2: You have direct contact with your audience. On any other platform you'll have a "man in the middle" between you and your audience - an algorithm that serves paid ads, or worse, investors' interests. This allows you to promote, sell or simply engage on your terms - gain more views on your YouTube Video, more reads on your new article, more sales on your new book or course, sell even a physical product - all on your terms.

3: An email list is a true asset. In fact, it's the ONLY asset you can have online, which allows you to run it as a business - one that can be sold in the future for a couple of millions, if not hundreds of millions, depending on your size, niche, and engagement metrics.

4: Emails are your sales engine. If you want to sell more, emails are the best channel and the one with highest conversion rates. I know this from my 9-5.

5: No more grind. Yes, you need to send mails so that people don't get "cold" but you don't have to spam them every day. You are good to go with once or several times per week. That's it.

6: You can easily automate it. Now, that's the real game changer for me. As a 9-5-er I need to be able to work less and earn more.With a newsletter business, you can build, automate and sell on autopilot.
